ONE SUNNY AFTERNOON in a Year 8 Music Lesson, James Beckwith had a spark of inspiration. Well, if you call inspiration writing a song about taking the pisss of a kid one year above you becuase he happens to be small and alien looking. THUS, (Louis is a) Space Alien was born!
   JAMES B PLAYED this to Adam and James H and got a few laughs, but we never intented for much else. So James H left and James B and Adam discussed that they would form a Rock/Funk band, just the 2 of them.
   ABOUT ONE YEAR later nothing had happened really, except the odd jam. What happened was, (white stripe fans skip this) you cannot have a half decent band without a bassist and a even mediocre drummer. So James B decided to have a little chat to Robert Taylor about playing bass guitar. It was all joking around and Robert kept going "I can play bass!" Ironically, he did.
SO THE BAND known as the Crazy Death Metal Monkeys was starting to take form, but something important, ryhmic, and that will always keep time. Of course! A single! Sit next to you was the first proper single to be layed down by the band. Success was to follow.
   A MONTH OR 2 passed and the band decided that they really did now need a drummer; so we got James H to do it.
THREE REHERSALS LATER the band decided they didn't like James H, so we got David.
   DAVID WASN'T REALLY very enthusiastic, so we fired him (on his birthday! - ouch!) and replaced him with James H.
   EVERY THURSDAY AFTER German the band used to play, but this got less and less common as James B had his Jazz Band and Adam had his Punk Band, (not forgetting Roberts solo vocalist record label) So Monkey Craving (new name) went into pause.
   ON THE 2ND last weekend of June however, all that changed as Lost the Plot spent a weekend at Green Giant Studios to record and lay down our debut EP.
   DISCUSSIONS ABOUT ANOTHER recording weekend are in progress now.
