The mission of the Monona County Conservation Board is to acquire - by lease, gift, or purchase - land for public parks, wildlife areas, forest preserves, recreational areas, and historic sites.

The shoulder patch is the symbol and signature of the Monona County Conservation Board. The patch serves as a reminder to not only to provide outdoor recreation and education, but more importantly, to preserve and use our natural resources wisely. This patch is proudly worn on the uniforms of employees.
