| Ape clan- Starting as strange formed blobs, they first try to eat Ashitaka. They want to plant trees and save the forest, but then want to drive the humans from it by eating them and gaining their strength. San says that will turn them into something worse. Later on they are seen as modern-day apes who warn her of the boar-skinned warriors. They had turned. |
