Gear Speed Calculator

Here are two screen shots from my speed and rpm calculator, if you want the program you can download the zip file below the screen shots.  It includes a small sample database as well as the actually program.

Some of the features include working for both motorbikes and cars, unlike most programs of this type you can enter the bike sprocket sizes so you can easily see the affects of changing sprocket size.  You can save the vehicles to a database, just a text file, and you can print the graph out.   When you move the mouse pointer onto the graph it will give you the exact RPM and Speed at that point making it easier to see exactly what speed you bike or car is doing at a given RPM.

The graph can also display MPH or KPH and for the car guys you can select automatic or manual gearbox and losses due to the torque convertor are factored in.
