Dear brothers and sisters,
Happy St-Valentine's Day!
In this "Festival of
Love", everywhere love is celebrated. But do you know that in the Bible,
love is more an action than a feeling? Let's see the Bible's definition of
love, found in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, "Love is patient, love is
kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not
rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of
wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always
protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never
fails."
I always wonder, if
love is just a feeling and chemistry, like many TV commercials trying
to tell us, why do people vow "Till death do we part"?
Saturday's film "A vow to cherish" in Westmont Christian
Fellowship (386 Landsdowne, bus 24) should show us what a great love can be.
Hope to see you there.
By the way, I did quite well
in my computer graphics exam. Thank God and thanks to your prayers.
May God bless you,
Haiying
