Dear brothers and sisters,

Today is Thanksgiving Day. Thanks God we can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable life in this country; thanks for the beautiful fall scenery in Montreal; and, thanks to each one of you who have spent time with us in this Chinese fellowship.

Reports and Announcements of our activities:

1. Bible study:

On Sunday we studied a lot about angels: Their intellect and power, their worship of God, and the fallen angel - Satan. I really enjoyed our discussion about free will and sin. Thanks for Heather; she left her small baby to spend time with us.

2. Prayer meetings:

Next Sunday we will come at 9:30am to pray for the Bible study, for the fellowship, and for all the people who come to the fellowship.  If you want to pray with us, please come a little bit earlier in the Sunday morning. The Bible study will start at 9:45am as usual.

The Bible encourages us to pray:

James 5:16b: The prayer of a righteous man ( or woman, child ) is powerful and effective.

Last Friday only Sue Ann and Haiying came to the church to pray. So this week we will join the prayer meeting of the church (Wednesdays 7:15pm, in the church ). Please come to the church if you want to pray with other saints.  

3. Beginner's Bible Study in West End Bible Fellowship

Now I go to there every Saturday, 7-9pm. We are studying Luke's Gospel. You will meet a lot of Chinese friends there. Last Saturday we had a big Thanksgiving banquet of 30 people!
