What's going on in my life...




I want to welcome everyone to my webpage. I have spent many hours working on it and refining it here and there. I am actually really becoming proud of my achievements and am enjoying doing it. I hope you all have fun looking at it as well...





We're going to be grandparents as I have mentioned on Hollie's page. I've been very busy cross-stitching a Pooh themed quilt. I think it's going to be lovely when it's done, but I have to say, it is driving me round the bend.. LOL! I've done a diaper bag and am very pleased with that. But I warn the rest of the kids; NO MORE BABIES!! til I am finished this quilt. My poor fingers need a break!





It has finally turned bloody cold outside now. John has been grumbling to me that I am being too cheap to turn the heat up. We have electric heat so I do tend to watch how much I use.. lol. I dress up a bit warmer but the old fella likes to wear short sleeved shirts. Oh well.. lol...





I found out I have won my appeal in my court case against workman's compensation. It is going to take upwards of 6 months to find out all the twists and turns of the ruling.. but for now.. it's enough to know that for once.. good things come to those who wait...
Just a bit of an update here.. the court reconvenes April 4th, 2004 to determine what exactly I am entitled to. But rumour has it I go from 65% salary to 85% complete with back pay.. Here's to fingers crossed!





I'm busy counting the months til I can apply to move over to England... Right now we are 3 and counting!!!!





Christmas has come and gone .. and this year.. even though I was finally for the first time ever totally ready well before the big day I was full of flu!! Murphy's law I tell you. I even ended up on antibiotics Christmas Eve. So.. I wasn't too excited for Christmas but it was nice none the less.


We finally found out what the baby is going to be.. and we're going to have a grandson!!!! We are all really excited and now I get to shop for clothes as well :) I have already started and I can now honestly say how the heck am I going to get everything over there without a cargo truck? I mean besides the baby I have been buying for all the kids here and there. Only now the here and there is adding up to a big uh oh. LOL.. oh well.. the pain of having kids I guess.. lol. That and the fact I love to shop and won't turn down a really good deal.
