Why CluelessKatie?: When I was trying to make up a name for my site I wanted the first word to sound like the first letter of my name. I couldn't think of anything I liked with a K so I used a C to be easier on myself. I got completely frustrated thinking up a name and just yelled this out. "I'm just clueless about this." (or something like that) and it hit me. CluelessKatie, it's perfect for my site name. It sounds o.k. for a doll site and at the time I was pretty clueless (and still am) on how to make dolls and put a website together.
Why'd I start the site?: Honestly my sista Mac introduced me to it and I thought it was pretty cool but mostly because I wanted to have something in common with her that we could talk about. So since we both liked dolling we decided to make a site together which was called EatMoreSugar. Mac and I decided to go our separate ways and make our own sites so she stuck with that one and I made CluelessKatie mostly because she wanted a sister site.
O.K. then what's with the #'s?: Every time I move my site or have changed the url I make the # go up. It shows how many hosts I've tried I guess. 1st I used freewebs cause using Angelfire with Mac was kinda hard. It was really nice and simple perfect for someone clueless like me. My 1st url was www.freewebs.com/moonbeam907. I decided like I think a year later I wanted a url with my sites name in it and not my e-mail address. Want a little sub fact about me??? I use the same name for almost everything so I don't forget it. So my 2nd url on freewebs was www.freewebs.com/cluelesskatie2. Recently I got tired of freewebs cause it give limited storing space and page #'s. I had to use a lot of accounts in order to have as many pages as I do/did. Lucky for me that was (and is?) legal on freewebs. One o my dolling friends who talks to me a lot suggested I use Geocities like her. It has way more storing space and is more advanced. I know a lot more html now so I took Mandy's suggestion. So that url and my current url is www.oocities.org/moonbeam907. That one I couldn't but CluelessKatie3 in because geocities is partnered with yahoo I guess so I had to use my yahoo name. Maybe I'll change my e-mail address to cluelesskatie someday. I've also been using a few other sites to store my files and give me extra pages these days. One is bravenet and the other is sight fights.
How long has this site been up?: I think three years.
About My SN:When I first got the net for my computer I had just come back from camp, which is like my life, and I couldn't think of a name so I just used my camp name Moonbeam. The 907 stands for part of my birthday. 9=September 07=Day. My b-day is on September 11th if ya don't get that little code thing I just put.
