SALT SHAKER ANGEL
Supplies needed: |
Salt Shaker |
1 1/2" Gather Lace |
Potpourri |
Spanish Moss or Curly Hair |
1 1/2" Wooden Ball with Flat Bottom |
1/2" Wide Ribbon |
Black Marker |
Glue Gun |
8" Wire Ribbon |
Scissors |
Gold Foil Pipe Cleaner |
|
|
1. |
Fill salt shaker with potpourri. Do not replace the cap. It can be thrown away.
It may be helpful to crush the potpourri into smaller pieces. |

|
2. |
Draw a face onto the wooden ball, using the marker.
If desired, you can draw rosy cheeks onto the face with a pink marker. |

|
3. |
Glue the head onto the top of the salt shaker, using the glue gun.
If you wish to have the aroma of the potpourri seep from the salt shaker, drill a small hole through the wooden ball beforehand. |

|
4. |
Make a bow from the wired ribbon. Fold the ribbon in half, and make a crease. Reopen the ribbon, then fold the ends in toward the center. Using a 3/4" piece of the pipe cleaner, twist it around the middle, securing the ends to the center of the ribbon. Fluff the loops to create wings. |

|
5. |
Glue wings to the back of the salt shaker right below the rim.
Fluff the wings to achieve the desired shape. |

|
6. |
Glue the lace to the front of the salt shaker, around the rim, to create an apron. |

|
7. |
Make a bow with the 1/2" wide ribbon, and attach to the rim of
the salt shaker in front.
Attach Spanish moss or curly hair to the head for hair.
Make a small halo from a piece of the pipe cleaner and glue on top of head. |
