| It's about 8:00 AM here in Hong Kong. Tyler and I will be checking out of the Marco Polo Hotel in about an hour and headed to the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou. Today is the day that we meet Addison for the first time. We have been waiting for this day for over a year. It still feels very much like a dream. I am sure once little Addison is in my arms it will hit me that we have another daughter. I will be posting pictures as soon as I can. You will all be sleeping when we meet Addison but when you wake up on Wednesday morning you will be able to view our Gotcha Day pictures. |

| wow! What a day!!! We got to our hotel at about 2:00 PM and had to run next door to the bank to get Chinese money. That took forever. We got into our room at about 3:00 and had to unpack and fill a diaper bag very fast. We were to meet downstairs at 3:30PM to take a bus to Register Centre of Guangdong.. The bus ride was very quiet. I think everyone was trying to just take in the moment. Once we arrived at the Adoption Registre Center we were taken upstairs and put into a small room. One by one they called our names. What a magical moment it was to watch all my travel buddies meet thier beautiful daughters for the first time. When they called my name I was just shaking. Addison came right to me. She never cried once. She is even more beautiful then I imagined she would be and very very tiny. The size 2 diapers are a bit big. My little peanut. As for her health. She seems to be healthy. She does have a runny nose and cough that I will keep an eye on. It appears that she has a lump on her head that I am checking into and she has a terrible diaper rash. She has been so happy since we have been back to our room. She is playing and laughing. What a sweetheart she is. I don't know what tonight has in store for us... Livi only 10 more nights and mommy will be home to tuck you in. I love you!!! |
