Sophie
is named so from Gnostic lore, where Sophia (faith & knowledge) is known
as a great female angel, even queen of the angels. Sophie is from our
first litter. We were active in the breed for many years before
this, striving towards this seriously considered goal, and we feel our
success had some help from heaven, making an "Angel" theme fitting.
Sophia has grown into a
beautiful girl, with a very sweet personality. She is rather laid
back, but if you get her going she will boot scoot all around the room,
come back for a quick kiss, do another burn out and return again, her
eyes filled with glee! She completed her Championship quickly, and as an adult, she was shown only
one weekend where she made me proud. She not only was a female
consistently winning the
breed, but going on to placing in the group!
Though not included in
our program, Sophia is an important member of our family and a wonderful
example of the breed, both in temperament and conformation. A
great ambassador for people to meet when they visit us, doing her breed
proud! She loves her humans and bullie companions
and is a fitting "nanny" to our pups, guiding them with her gentle
and sweet demeanor.
