An Angel Among Men
Magnificient illuminescence,
Standing next to me.
Like a star lighting up the night sky,
In all of its glory.
How many times have I seen her in the crowd,
Her unknowingly affecting me.
An angel walking among men,
Without realizing the wings on her back.
Hand in hand,
Heart to heart,
Dancing to the music of cheribums.
Never before have I felt my heart jump,
Until the slight touch of her hand.
Her aura filling the room,
Drawing me in like the inescapable beauty of a sunset.
The look in her eyes,
As I gaze into them,
Makes me want to be a better man.
A man worthy of her love.
A brief fleeting moment in time,
Or a lifetime of heavenly bliss,
Is up to the keeper of the stars,
Who sent this angel to earth.
But this beauty that I hold in my arms,
Has stolen my heart, my soul, and my love.
Life can acheive no better,
Than to dance with an angel.
