Perseverance

A true champion is someone who gets up,
Even when they can't.
To strive forward,
To reach for the stars,
To endure.
Shutting out the criticism,
And reigning in opportunities of the dream world.
There is no one saying,
"You can't do that,
That's impossible,
Or don't bother trying."
Only your own negativity to hold yourself back.
Pushing yourself to the limits,
Straining against the bonds.
Life slamming the door in your face,
Trying to deter from set goals.
Fighting against time,
Lacking in will-power.
So quit, give up, screw it.
Who needs the pressure of life.
Never achieving full potential.
To quit is to lose the battle of life.
But to persever,
Is over-coming reality and conquering the imagainable.
