Buffy runs into Clem who basically says he's leaving town because things are getting "bad". No shit.
Buffy takes her failure with Xander and the SITs to heart. She breaks down and cries.
When she looks up from crying, Caleb is there. He knocks her unconscious.
The SITs and Dawn find some info on Caleb's symbol that he's so keen on tatooing and send Spike and Andrew to check it out in some abandoned mission.
Buffy gets back to the house and finds the SITs gone.
While Buffy was unconscious, Faith decided to take the depressed SITs out for some Bronzing fun.
Suddenly, the police (who seems to be possessed because they're intent is killing) burst in and try to haul Faith out and basically kill her.
SITs try to help, and then Buffy shows up.
Buffy doesn't get that the police are possessed and starts lecturing Faith. Faith says something about Buffy not keeping the SITs safe herself and Buffy punches her. Faith doesn't recoil.
They all return to the house and have a big welcome for Xander.
Buffy says she figured out why the First isn't guarding the seal in the basement and they should all go investigate.
NOBODY agrees to go. Everyone attacks Buffy on her "unsafe" plans and that they don't wanna go.
Willow defends Buffy, saying that she is stressed, but no one backs her.
Spike and Andrew still aren't back at this time.
Lots of bickering between Giles and Buffy. Xander says he won't go. Buffy uses the "I'm the Slayer" card, and someone says, "Well isn't Faith a Slayer too?"
Faith says she's not gonna lead anyone but everyone decides to follow Faith, not Buffy.
Dawn and the SITs kick Buffy out of the house. Basically, Dawn says that if she can't deal with taking the backseat to Faith, then she should leave. Buffy leaves. All lone.
Moosin's Note: Um, in case I didn't mention it, I did NOT write the detailed summary of this episode, just recapped it on this page. I am SO broken over the way they treat Buffy in this episode. She's a bitch and that's a given, and as much as I love Faith, I think that she's being treated WAY too much like god's gift EVERYWHERE she goes. She shows up on Angel and takes initiative and now the SITs ditch Buffy? If I were her, I'd just be like, "Fine. Faith just got here, but obviously she knows more than me. And if you all die -- and you will -- I won't be here to "cause" it. Happy dying!"
I am so damn mad about the SITs and Dawn. They're all little whiny bitches! Like Faith is a whole lot better (yes, I'm ranting, I'm upset). Although Faith does seem like the best option, cuz she's not being the control freak, I'm hoping in episode 20 that they all get maimed and live just long enough to say, "Buffy.... you were right."
