March 10th - Frustration!

I must apologise, dear readers, if you have been looking for updates lately.  All I can say is, ask Telstra!!!  I have been unable to connect to the geocities website (also can't seem to get onto any angelfire sites so haven't been able to check out lots of other people's journals either).  It's Saturday lunchtime now, and I'm not sure when this will make it onto the site, but I'll keep checking regularly to see when I can upload this entry.  Needless to say, I am FRUSTRATED.

Not a lot to report for this week, though. I've been a little bit sick and very tired so my brain hasn't produced any sparkling insights to share with people.  I have had quite a bit of email contact with other people who are keeping online journals, so thanks to Shani, Trish, Zoe and Anne for helping me stay feeling motivated this week (check out links to their websites on my links page - I'm feeling too darned lazy to link them from here because I have a few updates to catch up on)..

Tonight I'm trying a recipe I found in
Annette Sym's Symply Too Good To Be True recipe book (I can't remember who put me onto the book - but one of my online WW friends).  It's a creamy garlic prawns recipe made with light evaporated milk.  I'm really looking forward to it because I love garlic prawns, but of course they are usually very high in fat.  Tomorrow I'm going to make a low-fat lasagne and will probably freeze some it for lunches this week.  I'm not that much of a cook, so finding some recipes I feel capable of making is good for me.
