March 20th - Update and apologies So, it's Tuesday and that means weigh-in day. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that I had made good progress - a 1.6 kg loss this week. My home scales didn't say that so I've decided that the WW ones *must* be more accurate. At least they are in smaller increments - sometimes my weight jumps around on my home scales. When I reach my goal weight I'm buying new scales with 100gm increments (I've probably already mentioned that elsewhere but it doesn't matter if I get a little repetitive). ***** Why an apology, I hear you ask. Well, because I haven't been keeping up with my journal very well lately. I wonder if it's because I'm progressing well I feel less compelled to write, or if it's because I am having quite a bit of contact with people on forums and emails etc, so that takes my time and energy. I know that one contributing factor has been that my laptop bit the dust and I had to wait until Flopsy's computer was free to update (the other computer doesnt allow me to use the page building tool I use for this web site). My laptop is now running reasonably well again, so I should be able to update a bit more often. Also, I have been working again for about eight weeks now, and it does make me tired. I have quite a lot of travel to do every day, and I certainly need my relaxation. I think I have less energy now than when I started the job, and things are getting on top of me a little (like paperwork and housework etc). I am less well organised generally than I was a few weeks ago. My goal is to try and write three times a week for at least the next month. Let's see how I go! <<Back Home Next>> |
