The 5th Doctor: Peter Davison

The 5th Doctor joined at the start of Season 19, and lasted almost to the end of Season 21. Peter is the youngest actor to play the Doctor, and his Doctor has often been criticised for his apparent weakness. His Doctor does however have a high sense of morals, which are displayed in Resurrection of the Daleks, and is the only Doctor to have allowed the Master to die, as shown in Planet of Fire. The era also had its twentieth anniversary, and a special episode, The Five Doctors, was produced to commemorate this.

I liked Davison as the Doctor- he is my 4th favourite Doctor. He makes mistakes, but don't we all? He does use violence, but you can see that he really doesn't want to. I have met Peter Davison at the Bluebox 4 convention in Bristol 2001, and whilst he is a bit quite, he is polite and nice.
