Week 1 Schedule:

Tight Ends vs. Hitmen

The Tight Ends and Priest Holms take on the defending Superbowl champion Hitmen, lead by their stellar 1-2 punch of LaDanian Tomlinson and Ricky Williams.  Both of these teams have been in the top 5 scoring each year of this league, but only one will be undefeated after week 1.

SmackDownSister vs. Chargers

A re-match of the two runner-ups from last year, also divisional rivals.  The Chargers have bolstered a strong team from last year as SmackDownSister is beginning the rebuilding process around a solid wide receiver corps and their stellar QB Donnovan McNabb

Rynos vs. PhatBacks

After a disappointing season missing the playoffs by only a few yards (was it 8?), the Rynos look to rebound with the legs of Marshall Faulk.  They come into a division filled with teams that have never made the playoffs.  The PhatBacks hope the addition of Petyon Manning will give their team that one missing piece to vault them to a divisional title.

StiffArms vs. Ball Ho's

Two teams linked by Clinton Portis.  The BallHo's traded the rights to Portis in the offseason to acquire Isacc Bruce, giving him one of the most feared aerial attack in the league (Moss, Bruce, Price).  The StiffArms hope that they can ride the back of Portis all the way to the playoffs when they made Portis the highest paid player in the league

Assassins vs. Marauders

The Assassins have lost Michael Vick for the first half of the season, and have been scrambling to find a replacement.  A failed trade for the rights to Portis and sending Vick's backup Peyton Manning for Joe Horn have left the Assassins questioning their front office.  Despite the bad luck so far on the injury front, the Assassins still look to field a high scoring team.  The Marauders were the most active team in the league in the offseason, and are hoping their prized acquisition Ahman Green will provide that one running back that they have always missed.

Gryphons vs. Quiet Storm

A battle of the two worst teams from a year ago.  The Gryphons have kept their team virtually unchanged but have added a few running-backs which their team was missing last year.  The Quiet Storm is also rebuilding, and will be looking to their #1 acquisition Stephen Davis to support their MVP Rich Gannon and deliver some much needed points.
