Great match-ups this week. Check these match-ups:
The #1 team (tie) in the NFL vs. the #1 team (tie) in the CFL
The #1 team (tie) in the NFL vs. the #2 team in the XFL
The #2 team in the NFL vs. the #2 team in the CFL.
This week may have a huge impact in determining who is going to make the playoffs! This is the last week of inter-divisional games. After this week, all games will be played against teams in your own division, and the bye weeks will all be done in the NFL. That means every win from next week on ALSO means a loss for a divisional rival.
Important Reminders:
The trade deadline is prior to the week 11 games. This is the SECOND LAST week to trade. The actual date of the deadline is Friday November 14.
The cap penalty for any player dropped before the last week of the season won't count against next year, but any player dropped AFTER the last game of the regular season (after the playoffs start) WILL count towards next year's cap.

***Game of the Week*** Two teams tied for first in their respective divisions that have gone 1-2 over the past three weeks, and both teams NEED a win going into divisional match-ups next week. The Tight Ends will almost have a full roster, only missing a kicker but will have the super-stud Priest Holmes back and running. The Rynos are also currently without a kicker, and have a mix of good match-ups (Shaun Alexander vs. Washington) and bad match-ups (Steve McNair vs. Miami) to look forward to. Should be an interesting game.

Two teams that won by a single point last week, the Chargers will take on the Quiet Storm in their final inter-divisional game. The Chargers have had excellent production week in and week out from a suspect #2 RB and are working feverishly to try to deal Laveranues Coles prior to the trade deadline. The Quiet Storm has been very quiet of late, but looks like they have a team on the rise with the return of Chad Pennington which raises the stock of WR Santana Moss to near Moss-like proportions.

Talk about two teams at the opposite end of the league - SmackDownSister is last in record and points scored, the Marauders are first in both those categories. Despite the record, SmackDownSister has been playing much better over the past while, averaging 60 points a week over the past three weeks. A lot of that can be attributed to Anthony Thomas as the A-Train looks like it's got it's wheels back on. The Marauders have been rolling along themselves thanks to the running of Ahman Green and the special teams & Defense of Mike Vanderjact and the Dolphins.

Another must win game for both teams that find themselves one game behind the division leaders. The Hitmen finally got a win after scoring a consistent 60+ points each week for the past four. Torry Holt has emerged as the top wide receiver in the league and leads all receivers in yards and touchdowns. The StiffArms will be without their top running back Clinton Portis, so will be relying on either Warrick Dunn or Ladell Betts to carry the ball in their #2 spot. They may not need much production though, since Daunte Culpepper is going up against the San Diego Defense. |

Another huge game, two teams with identical records trying to keep up with the division leaders. The PhatBacks are currently tied with the Rynos for first in the CFL, but are behind them by over 100 points. To beat the Rynos, they will likely have to beat them in record alone. Their team may get a boost with the return of Michael Bennett, but then again it may not as he & Moe Williams may now be sharing carries. The Assassins got some bad news with the suspension of their #2 RB William Green for a week, but with the way Jamal Lewis is playing, they may not need much production from their #2.

The Ball Ho's are fighting to stay alive in the CFL, and despite their record, are only 2 games back from the leaders. They have a very strong shot to make the playoffs especially since their team averages a strong 58 points a week. Randy Moss is their super stud, and is currently a step behind Torry Holt in the Wide Receiver leader board. They Gryphons can start thinking about next year as they have been officially eliminated from the top rung of the playoffs (unless they go on a scoring rampage over the next 5 weeks). Their team has much improved with the addition of the two young QBs Jon Kitna and Quincy Carter. |
