Important Reminders:
The trade deadline has passed.
The cap penalty for any player dropped before the last week of the season won't count against next year, but any player dropped AFTER the last game of the regular season (after the playoffs start) WILL count towards next year's cap.
At the season end, you must cut down to 15 players on your roster; RFAs can be cut without penalty - any player under contract will cause a penalty to be applied.
This weeks' games start on Thursday

SmackDownSister is playing to ensure they don't meet the top seeded team in the first round of the playoffs. They have been up and down lately, alternating 60+ point weeks with sub-40 point weeks. Better play out of the Anthony Thomas will help them, and he's going up against Arizona this weekend. The Tight Ends have lost four in a row and after spending most of the year as a top two team in the NFL are now looking like they'll end up in the lottery bracket. As Priest Holms goes, so go the Tight Ends.

The Chargers need two straight wins to have a chance at tying for the best record prize. Their seed has been established, and they will play the weakest team entering the playoffs. Their team has become almost one dimensional as Deuce McCalister has become the hottest RB in the league averaging 24 fantasy points per week for the past 2 weeks. The Hitmen need to keep up their scoring pace, and have been averaging 65 over the past 5 weeks. The question for them is which of the two running backs will show up - the good LaDanian and Ricky or the bad?

The PhatBacks NEED a win this week to have any hope of money this season, and after losing 3 of their past 4 games, it looks like their luck may have run out. Ironically, it was the return of Michael Bennett that messed up their season since Moe Williams was doing so well. The Ball Ho's are playing to stay out of the XFL next year, and still have a very long shot at the playoffs if they average more than 65 points more than any other team over the next 2 weeks. To accomplish that, Tiki Barber will have to hold onto the ball.

***Game of the Week*** The result of this game might decide the winner of the CFL. The Rynos have the edge with one more win than the StiffArms, but over the past 4 weeks, the Rynos have averaged 65 while the StiffArms have averaged 74. Anquan Boldin has become a stud for the StiffArms averaging more than 10 fantasy points per week over the past month. The Rynos have had new life with the return of Marshall Faulk who still isn't putting up $36 worth of fantasy points just yet.

The Assassins need to keep putting up the points, and finally got a good week from their receivers. If the Assassins can average 30 points per week more than the Marauders, they have a chance to get the "most points" prize and probably make the wildcard as well. However, this week they have tough match-ups with games against good defenses, but do have one good match-up with Marc Bulger against Minnesota. The Gryphons are playing for ballot seeding and have their star Jon Kitna going up against the non-so-impressive Pittsburgh defense.

The Marauders need 2 more wins and need to score some good points to seal down the best record & best points prizes. The same team has never won all 3 of those prizes (division champion, top record and top points). They are expecting a big week with Ahman Green going up against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and Trent Green against the SD defense on Sunday. The Quiet Storm is a nose ahead of the Gryphons in the ballot seeding, and as long as they score more points than the Gryphons over the next two weeks (and/or have a better record) they will avoid the top seed in the ballot rung. This is a bad match-up week with games against Tennessee, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Indianapolis. But Andre Johnson will probably have a big day against the Atlanta secondary. |
The Chargers add Bobby Engram for $4 and drop Lamar Gordon
Getting ready for the playoffs, the Marauders make three moves:
The Marauders release Turopeso from the IR.
The Marauders release Bubba Franks and add Najea Davenport for $1
Marauders release Curtis Conway and add Az-Zahir Hakim for $1
The Quiet Storm snatches Bubba Franks off waivers and waives their rights to Christian Fauria

Chargers 60 Hitmen 57 |

Ball Ho's 79 PhatBacks 57 |
The Tight Ends defeat SmackDownSister mainly
due to the superb play of Priest![]() |
The Chargers
win over the Hitmen as the Hitmen fall further behind the Assassins in the wildcard race. The Charges Duce
McCalister let the Chargers down this week with just under 200 yards
of offense and no scores but the Chargers were able to come back on Monday
night with 22 points from Derrick Mason, Eddie George and Gary
Anderson.![]() |

Rynos 123 StiffArms 83 |

Gryphons 72 Assassins 70 |

Marauders 57 Quiet Storm 39 |
The Rynos had the biggest weeks in this pools
history, shattering the old weekly record set by the Assassins in
week 2 by two touchdowns AND the record set by the Ball Ho's in
week 2, 2002 by 4 points. Every single player on the Rynos
team had at least one touchdown while Chris Chambers and Marshall
Faulk powered ![]() |
The Assassins drop a close one to the Gryphons
but extend their lead in![]() |
The Marauders edge out the Quiet Storm
despite not scoring a single touchdown on offense. A second poor week has
dropped them into a virtual tie with the Rynos for top points and
only 1 game ahead for best record. The Miami Defense saved the day
with 5 sacks, 5 takeaways and one touchdown.![]() |
