Jenn's Friends is one of the funnest groups I've ever had the privilege of being on. I've joined up with several friends from other groups there, along with making a few new ones. We all get along great, and have a wonderful time laughing and crying together.

I just want to let all those who have read about and been rooting for our
Bug that she has been doing VERY well. The first while was quite trying
for she and her family, but she has been coming through all the chemo
treatments like a real trooper!!!

Right now is a time when our group is pulling together more than ever
before. One of our beloved friends, Holly, found out on Thursday evening
that her beautiful 3 year old daughter, Haley (aka Bug) has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
This beautiful little girl has already been through more in her short
lifetime of 3 years than many do in an entire lifetime. She, like my son,
was born 15 weeks prematurely, weighing only 1 pound 11 ounces. We have
all been so happy with Haley's progress on everything, and so proud of
Holly for being the strong and wonderful mother that she is.
I would like to ask at this time that you make a visit to Sunshine for Haley at
The Preemie Place. We are
asking only for the one thing that everyone can afford to give . . . a
prayer. No matter what faith you are, what beliefs you have, please - I
beg of you - send this beautiful little girl some love and a prayer. Light
a candle for her. Send her healing energy.
Anything you can do to help. And strength for her family to help them get
through this. Little Haley is expected to be undergoing chemotherapy for
the next 2 1/2 years. They really all the support and love you can give.
Also, for anyone who is able or wishes to do so, a trust fund has been set
up for Haley and her family, through Haley's Sunshine. If you would like
to help the family in some other way, please do not hesitate to E-mail me and I'll set you in the
right direction.
