September 2006  Part 1 (Click on photos to enlarge.)
Some photos from our Labor Day weekend trip to St. Louis to see a ball game and go to the zoo!
Dad tells Morgan about the Old Busch Stadium, which is now a parking lot and dirt pit. Morgan visited the stadium once, but she was trapped in Mom's belly and didn't get to see the place.
Morgan wrinkles her nose in disgust as she sees the boys wearing socks with their sandals. Luckily it was only for a few minutes before they got their tennies out of the trunk.
Morgan was fascinated with the closet mirror in our hotel room in St. Louis. We should have put a bow in her hair to go with her Cardinals shirt, because some people didn't notice her ruffled jeans and thought she was a boy.
Morgan looks like she would enjoy a bite of Andrew's burger. He wasn't interested in sharing because he ate the whole thing by himself!
Can you find Ben and the kids in front of the New Busch Stadium?
Here's a closer view of the gang.
The Pujols Fan Club cheers for their player. Unfortunately, the Cardinals lost and Pujols hit three homeruns the day after we were there. Oh well!
Back at the hotel, Drew gives Morgan a goodnight kiss.
The fish at the zoo were a hit with both kids.
Dad and Drew pose in front of the giraffes. Some of Drew's other favorites were hippos, rhinos, elephants, including a new baby elephant, monkeys, zebras, penguins and bears.
"Look, Mom! I got my sock off! Now I can put it in its proper location ..."
"... my mouth!"
