Rhonda Rhonda Scheurer (my daughter) calls Haiku the "Velvet Elvis of Poetry", but it's also the only form of poetry that she likes. (She says she dislikes her mother's poetry less than anybody else's....right, Rhonda??) She's a programmer by day, belly dancer by night, and runs an outdoor club in the in-between times:

THE CALGARY OUTDOOR CLUB

Rhonda's personal site:

A PANSY BY ANY OTHER NAME...

field of wild flowers
after bovine digestion
butterflies sip poop
Six days and counting
Not my problems anymore
Short Timer's sets in
Spring solstice up North
The Canadian mantra
Cold enough for ya?
geomagnetics
the solar active regions
paint pretty pictures
Racing pacing wired
Filled with nervous energy
Charmaine made coffee
exotic wonders
anise, cardamom, saffron
fill my potion rack
black, shiny, perfect
he came to me unafraid
squished him with a shoe
