I am totally addicted to Second Life after signing up for one of the free accounts. I can totally indulge my penchant for hot clothes, cute shoes, and playing with makeup and hair. And I look much better than I would in real life. :-)

So some folks have asked: What is Second Life?

Visit their website at http://secondlife.com/whatis/ and find out. Basically it's a free-form online community in a 3D world. Sort of like WoW or the Sims, but almost all the content is provided by the users themselves. So there's some game areas, some shopping areas, etc.
