Secondary Traits



Some of these Abilities may seem less significant and useful than many of the more general Abilities described in Vampire itself. In fact, some Secondary Abilities are subcategories of other, more general, Abilities.

First of all, the difficulty of a given feat can be lowered for a character using a more specialized Ability, making the Secondary Ability more selective but more powerful.

Second; The Cost. Secondary abilities cost 1/2 the amount you would pay to get a regular ability during the character creation process while spending your freebies. To raise your Secondary Abilities, the cost is the rating you seek. For instance... You have Blacksmithing at 2, and you want to raise it to 3. The cost would be 3 Experience points.

Keep in mind, players as well as new character sheet makers, if you provide a good enough background, or a log of learning the ability, you just may get free dots within that Secondary Ability, given by the Character Sheet Storyteller; MM CS ST.
