The Amazon Sword on the left is not doing well.  I finally trimmed off the four larger leaves, in hopes that would help restart the plant.   Almost everything else growing like crazy.  The "Bacopa" (Tall, stemmed plants with little round leaves) are getting taller and sending down roots everywhere.  The bushy things aren't doing much, but the Pennywort in the middle is spreading out something fierce.  Not much happening with the Java Fern.

I added several plants to the left end of the tank, along with a couple "Banana Plants" that are just kinda sitting on the gravel.  The "Radican Sword", which was alone at the right end of the tank, is putting out lots of leaves.  I added a couple of grassy looking plants (a local store had a sale on unidentified potted plants, so I don't actually know what these things are.  I hope to identify them later.) and a fronded one up towards the right front.

Brown Algae is starting to appear - it's most noticable on the small sword on the left - that's why the leaves have so much brown tinge - it's not dead leaves, it's brown algae on the leaves.

New fish - I added a group of six Gold Barbs to the tank for some color and activity.  They're lots of fun - racing around the tank constantly.  They don't seem to bother anyone else, but fuss with each other continually.  It appears that I have four males and two females.  They particularly like to frolic in the outflow from the cannister filter - racing into the current and somersaulting out of it.

This picture was taking during the day - hence the reflection of the window on the left side.  Yes - the window has a venitian blind with a couple of broken slats;  my cats continually go up to watch outside, bending the slats aside, and over time the slats wore out and broke.  I just never got around to fixing them, and the cats till go up there anyway...
