Arc 6/?

Bruised and beaten, were Weiss when they finally managed to escape Farfarello's attack, and they began their headlong rush for home, fearing what would await them there.

A trip that originally took them three hours, took them less then half of that as Yohji ignored the speed limit and sped off down the highway back towards Tokyo. It was amazing that somehow they weren't pulled over by the police for speeding.

They arrived at the Koneko in the early light of dawn, everything looked as it should, but that didn't mean anything at all. The three of them rushed into the apartment with weapons drawn and ran down the hallway to Omi's room, expecting the worst.

"Manx!" Ken cried, as he crouched next to the fallen woman, who sat slumped against the wall facing the shattered window, shards of broken glass were strewn all over the white carpet.

The red-haired woman groaned and stirred as Ken lightly shook her shoulders. Manx blinked open her eyes, looking confused for a minute, before she stared straight at Aya.

"Schwartz has Omi." Was all she said, as Ken helped the woman stand up.

"We know. Are you hurt?" Yohji asked, looking concerned, as Manx rubbed the back of her head with a slight wince.

"One of Schwartz, Nagi, came in and as he was leaving with Omi, blasted me with some kind of telekinetic wave that slammed me into the wall... I don't know how long I've been unconscious. But, I am fine." Manx declared, waving the oldest Weiss man away when Yohji started to come and investigate the wound.

"Did Nagi say anything to let you know where he was taking Omi?" Ken asked, worried.

Manx shook her head. "I'm sorry, he didn't."

Yohji cursed loudly as he exited the room, coiling his wire absently. "Damn! Schwartz has us under their thumb now. If we try to do anything to them, they'll just use Omi as leverage to get us to back off!" The tall blond muttered, irritated.

"That's not true, Yohji! We can still fight them!" Ken protested, frowning.

"He's right." Aya stated, suddenly, turning to leave the room and back towards his own room.

Ken blinked. "Huh? He is?"

Manx laid a hand on Ken's shoulder. "Yes, he is. If we do anything right now, then Schwartz will use Bombay against us. I don't know what exactly they want with Omi, but I do know that Schwartz came here tonight for one reason only: To lure you three away so that they could abduct Omi. They wanted nothing else but to get Omi."

Ken's frown deepened. "I think you're right. When we went to that warehouse that you told us that there was going to be a transaction at, Takatori wasn't there, but Crawford, Schuldrich and Farfarello were. They mentioned something about us being led into a trap. But, they didn't stay for very long. They just left us with Farfarello in order for him to distract us while Crawford and Schuldrich got away. They knew that traveling distance alone would allow them time to get out of range with Omi. Three hours and they could be anywhere by now..." Ken said, sounding dejected.

Manx smiled, sympathetically. "There was no way that anyone of us could have known that it was a trap. Just know, that we'll all try our hardest to locate Bombay, wherever Schwartz has taken him."

//:Nagi-chan! We're home!:// Schuldrich cast out through the safehouse, sensing that the younger boy was nearby.

//: Please don't call me that. It's about time you got back.:// Nagi's cool voice returned, calmly.

Schuldrich snickered. //:Admit it, you like the nickname, eh?://

The tall henna-haired man heard the Japanese boy snort mentally in irritation as Schuldrich headed towards the sleeping area of the safehouse where Nagi presumably was, keeping an eye on their little 'guest'.

Opening the door none too quietly, he entered the bedroom where he could sense the two consciousness'. Nagi merely turned to eye him with silent exasperation, while the youngest Weiss member jumped in surprise.

"So how's our little guest? Behaving yourself?" Schuldrich asked, directing his question to the blond teen.

Omi narrowed his eyes, but remained silent.

Schuldrich raised an eyebrow, then glanced at Nagi, who seemed disinterested in the exchange.

"He's fine, Schuldrich-kun. His injuries are healing, but they're still a hindrance." Nagi replied.

Omi looked sharply at the dark-haired teen.

Schuldrich chuckled in amusement. "I wouldn't act so surprised, Omi. You knew that he's Schwartz and that he'd do his job."

Nagi looked up, giving the older man an unreadable look.

Omi glared up at Schuldrich. "Let me go." the blond said, tersely.

Schuldrich moved forward quickly and grabbed the boy by his injured arm, Omi screamed in pain, blinking furiously as he fought to stay conscious against the waves of pain.

Suddenly, Schuldrich felt a ghostly set of hands wrap around his neck and throw his backwards away from the wounded boy and into the opposite wall. Omi looked up in surprise at Nagi, who was standing, glaring at the red-haired man with a look of quiet rage, only marginally controlled.

Schuldrich looked equally surprised, surprised that Nagi had willingly used his power against him.

/:Get out, Schuldrich. Now.:/ Nagi demanded.

Schuldrich stood up slowly, watching the smaller boy warily. He was beyond angry, but none-the-less, he stalked out with a near-lethal glare directed in the youngest boy's direction, closing the door behind him.

/:I'll deal with you later, don't think I'll let you off the hook for that so easily.:/ Schuldrich declared, silently fuming.

/:...Whatever, Schuldrich-kun.:/ Nagi replied, sounding less then worried.

Omi bit his lip absently, as he watched the whole exchange with a frightened curiosity, while one hand was gently cradling him arm, Omi's face was pale. Nagi turned to him with a mildly worried expression, as he moved to investigate Omi's shoulder.

"How badly did he jar the injury..?" Nagi mumbled, half to himself.

"It's okay, it hurt more from the surprise of it then the actual pain." Omi said, trying not to wince as Nagi carefully repositioned his arm, and replaced the sling that had been lying upon the night table beside the bed, around his broken shoulder.

Nagi raised an eyebrow. "That scream certainly sounded like a scream of pain."

Omi felt his cheeks heat in embarrassment as he turned away from Nagi's cobalt blue eyes which were regarding him in amusement.

"...Ano..."

Nagi shook his head, standing up. "You're probably hungry, right? I'll go get you something to eat."

Omi looked up, cautiously. "How can I trust you not to poison my food?"

Nagi actually let out a soft laugh. "Don't you think that if Schwartz were to kill you, we'd pick a more obvious way to kill you? Sorry to disappoint you, I wouldn't stoop to food poisoning."

Omi frowned, but looked mildly mollified. Nagi turned and headed out the door, closing and lockng it behind him.

Nagi padded silently upon dingy looking carpets towards the kitchen. The small house was certainly not an improvement over their last house, not that that one had been any better. At least that one had been relatively clean.

The Japanese boy pulled some leftover soup that he had had some of earlier, out of the refrigerator and set to warming it up in the microwave. Nagi frowned as he found bottled water in one of the lower cupboards, instead of in the refrigerator.

Nagi suddenly tensed as he felt strong arms wrap around his waist tightly, another body pressed close against his.

//:Getting food for your little bitch?://

Nagi raised an eyebrow. "Do I detect a hint of jealousy, Schuldrich-kun?"

The older man snorted. "Hardly."

Schuldrich pulled the smaller boy up out of the crouch he had been in, jerking his head painfully around to press a bruising kiss upon the Japanese boy's soft lips.

Nagi made not a sound, not a whimper of pain from the rough way Schuldrich had pulled him up, merely let out a gasp of air that Schuldrich took to begin probing the younger boy's mouth with his tongue.

Schuldrich pushed the boy back against the counter, as Nagi absently moved his arms to prop himself back as the taller man rubbed his hips against Nagi's, letting out a soft moan into the dark-haired youth's mouth. It was obvious that there were two distinctive hardness' trapped between their bodies, and that was exactly what Schuldrich wanted.

//:Seriously though... is all that you think about, about sex?:// Nagi queried, sounding bored.

Schuldrich growled at the tone of voice. //:No... Not when there's someone willing like you... I dont' have to think about it, I get it.://

Schuldrich heard a soft laugh inside his head.

//:What makes you think I'm willing?:// Nagi asked.

Schuldrich moved down to the boy's neck, trailing wet kisses. Suddenly Nagi grunted as Schuldrich nipped the delicate skin of his neck, smiling almost lasciviously as he licked away the thin trail of blood that oozed out from the small wound.

//:That's why... you know who you must obey, don't you, Nagi-chan?://

The microwave beeped the completion of its cycle as Nagi pushed the tall man away with a glare. Making no move to do anything with the small wound on his neck, Nagi moved to the microwave and pulled the bowl out and laid it out on a wooden tray, along with the bottle of water and a spoon and napkin.

Nagi glared at the older man in annoyance as the smaller boy walked without a word out of the kitchen back down the hallway.

//:Dear, Nagi. I think you forgot the vase of flowers for your pretty little guest.:// Schuldrich taunted, smirking.

//:Leave him alone, Schuldrich-kun. I'll deal with the Weiss boy.://

//:You sound almost angry with me, little one. Why is that?://

Nagi made an irritated noise, but refused to answer. Schuldrich frowned when he felt the younger Schwartz member's mental shields go up, blocking Schuldrich access to the other's mind.

"...Hmm... That was amusing." Schuldrich muttered, before grinning for supposedly no reason. "I know whom I can amuse myself with now. Oh, Bra~adley!" Schuldrich called.

Ken had been awake for hours. The Japanese boy had been laying within the comfort of his lover's arms for the entirety of the night, with Ken's head lying upon Aya's chest, just over his heart. Listening to the reassuring sound of his lover's steady heartbeat did nothing to alleviate Ken's dismal mood.

It was his fault that Omi was abducted. He couldn't help but feel responsible for the younger boy being abducted by Schwartz. If it wasn't for him...

"Ken...it wasn't your fault."

Ken looked up in surprise to see Aya's amethyst eyes watching him. Ken laid his head back upon Aya's chest.

"Yes, it is, Aya. If I hadn't of asked him to deliver that arrangement that I was supposed to deliver myself, then all this wouldn't have happened." Ken replied. "If I hadn't of asked him to do that, then he wouldn't have been injured. If he hadn't of been injured, he would have been with us last night and not here waiting for Schwartz to come pick him up."

Aya reached up and took hold of Ken's chin in a firm grip, turning his face so that Aya 's eyes met Ken's.

"Stop, Ken. Thinking like this will get you nowhere."

Ken looked away, nodding in resignation. "Hai... you're right."

Ken sat up and climbed out of the bed, pulling on his boxers and a pair of his khaki pants. Aya followed his lead and got up, getting dressed.

"Who opens shop this morning?" Ken asked, pausing in the doorway as he turned to look back at Aya.

Aya pulled his tight black shirt on over his head, smoothing down his hair as he met Ken's eyes.

"It was supposed to be Omi's turn today, but since he's not here, I will." Aya replied.

Ken smiled, as he walked over to his lover and wrapped his arms affectionately around the taller man's neck, pressed a light kiss to the crimson-haired man's lips.

Aya raised an eyebrow. "What was that for?"

Ken shrugged, smiling. "I don't know. You just looked like you needed it."

Aya's expression softened, as a faint smile curled his lips.

"Honto ka?"

Ken nodded, before his expression became serious. "You know how much I love you, Ran? I don't know what I'd do if I lost you..." Ken said, suddenly, burying his face in Aya's shoulder, tightening his embrace.

Aya's eyes widened slightly in surprise at Ken's use of his real name. It wasn't often that it was used. Usually only during moments of passion, or private moments like these.

"It's okay, Ken. I'm not going anywhere." Aya replied, almost uncertainly, unsure on how to reply to the situation.

Ken pulled away, a small smile on his face. "I know. I just--"

Ken was interrupted as Aya caught him in another deep kiss.

Aya pulled away a moment later. Ken looked vaguely dazed, but contented.

"What was that for?" Ken asked.

Aya shrugged as he pulled away and started for the door. "I don't know, you just looked like you needed it."

Ken blinked, then laughed as he realized what Aya had just done, as Ken started after the tall red-head.
