Just a couple things on my small mind:
If you get WC Scene newspaper I want you to read the letter from Felix Sabates in the Letter to the Editors. Then (and there is no one on the circuit that will tell it like it is like Felix will) if you still have doubts about NASCAR, their concern for safety and any thoughts of any kind of cover-up.... well I would suggest you move along and find another sport to harangue at. You'll never make in NASCAR. And by the way: CATS.... staged, David Copperfield.... staged, WWF.... staged, NASCAR.... not in your lifetime bub. Think of the logistics, Think of the repercussions. NASCAR is just a little too smart for that. Now if only the naysayers were.

The Indy/World double? Who cares. The Indy just gives me time to get some yard work done before the real race starts. Only suspense for me... would Joe Gibbs really fire Tony Stewart if he was winning the Indy....

Once more we're at CMS/LMS/$MS for the epic World 600 race month or race year or whatever Bluto has it up to now. Only 7 more weeks, I think, and we'll get away from Lowe's, NC and back to "normal" racing again. But not before Bluto and the the Hump-meister squeezes every cent out of every race fan within a 500 mile radius.

TRAC.... huh? Makes about as much sense as getting Cale involved. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Cale Race-driver. It's just that Cale Race-exec doesn't fit my view of a successful spokesperson. I mean the guy couldn't even get his race team sold. Makes me want to run out and get season tickets. I can frame them next to the XFL season tickets as keepsakes to the incredibly inept business ventures. The Chicago Radiators vs. the Phoenix Sun-visors in a battle for league supremacy? Are we gonna have cheerleaders in cover-alls? And I swear the first tire shaped mascot is getting blown up. And I don't mean with air.

And just where is Blackie Wangerin?
