Well. All is going well, the hood (rag-top) and sidescreens are fitted and serve to keep me a bit warmer in the mornings when driving to work. I would be warmer still if I had got the heater wired up. This is the next job.
Wheels. What a nightmare. Wheels suppliers have got to be the most unreliable people of all time. In the end I have settled for some Rimstock alloys and will be collecting them tomorrow (Fri). Watch this space. (The pictures above show the new wheels - the whole saga about those will be told another day at another time).
Canada. I'm off to work in Ottawa as of February and plan to take the car with me. Only problem is I'm having trouble finding out whether I can do or not. Seems like one option is for me to take the engine out and "rebuild" it when I get there.
