Stoneleigh kit car show was this past weekend and I bought my
dashboard blank which I will no doubt spend hours cutting out,
varnishing and polishing so that I can get it "just right". I also
returned some bonnet catches which didn't really look the part -
instead I shall be using a hidden safety catch like on most production
cars.
I also bought/collected demister vents, running board strip, stainless steel windscreen wipers and blades, carpet, felt, carpet fasteners, leather cloth, a set of hole punches and a couple of wet'n'dry sanding blocks.... and wait for it... at long last I ordered the seats! (plus an extra half hide for making the trim panels and handbrake and gearstick gaiters)
