Automotive Links

Tailfins.com - Home of the Internet Slant Six Club and other, smaller online car organizations. Once one of the best sources of information on the slant six online, many of its articles were lost, and the current owner has little time to maintain it.

Bryan's Rice Boy Page - Ever wonder what that Civic with the racing stripes, Japanese lettering on the quarter panels, a 4" exhaust tip, and 18" wheels on a lowered suspension is packing under the hood? The answer may surprise you! Check out one of the biggest slams on wannabe racers you'll find on the 'Net, from the inventor of the term "Rice-Boy!"

The Dodge Dart Page - More Darts than you can shake a bumpstick at! This site focuses more on the history of the Dodge Dart and stories about individual cars than the technical aspects of restoration and racing. Highly recommended for all Dart fans.

Chrysler-Dodge-Plymouth Central - This unofficial site contains info on almost every Pentastar product since the 1960's (and a few from before then), from the mundane K-cars to the exotic Superbirds. Much of this information is availible nowhere else - at least, not that I've been able to find.

Year One - Need parts for a vintage MoPar or GM muscle car? Year One has a large stock of high quality parts, rebuilding and replating services to fix up existing gauges and bumpers, reasonable prices, and outstanding customer service. I've been very satisfied in all my dealings with them so far.

CarTalk - The Magliozi brothers, of National Public Radio fame, now have their own online site. It includes an archive of their radio show and column, test drive notes, and an excellent message board where discussion is definitely not limited to cars. Who would have thought stand-up comedy (or in their case, sit-down comedy) and automotive advice would mix like this?

Edmunds - An online buying guide to new and late model used cars. Includes both reviews and prices. If you're shopping for a car or truck made sometime in the last 12 years, checking this site out would be a smart move.

Gold Book Classic Cars - Ok, Edmunds will tell you what a fair price for a recent used car would be, but it's no help if you want to appraise something built 40 years ago. This site has one of the most complete pricing guides I've seen online for classic and muscle cars.

Hemmings Motor News - Looking for very hard to find car parts? If you don't find someone advertising it in Hemmings, you can place a want ad in one of the largest and most read collection of automotive classified ads in existance.

The White Trash Crew - This site was assembled by a group of car enthusiasts who were sick of seeing too many wannabe racing crew / wannabe gangster pages. It's kind of a satire on those kinds of pages, kind of set up to be something completely different. I happen to be a member, too.

Ken Adams' Home Page - My friend Ken has owned many cool cars, including a V8 powered RX-7 and a 440 Duster dragster. His current project is a '65 Dodge Dart GT with smallblock power.

The Mopar Mailing List Subscription Page - This is the biggest mailing list out there for Chrysler products. Whether you're looking for information on the Race Hemi, slant six, or turbocharged Omnis, you'll have a very good chance of finding it here.

The Slant Six Mailing List - This mailing list is for Slant Six enthusiasts everywhere.

The Road Runner Nest - A page dedicated to all 4th generation Plymouth B-bodies, the '71-'74 Road Runner, GTX, and Satellite.

Dustin's Unofficial Scamp Page - A webpage dedicated to the Plymouth Scamp, one of the more obscure A-bodies. Includes free classifieds, and pictures of the abuses Dustin's Scamp has suffered at the hands of the previous owner.

The Origin of Death - This personal homepage belongs to Ryan Connell, a fellow A-body enthusiast. It also includes information about some pretty seldom seen cars, including the Datsun F10, and sketches for a proposed body kit for an Aries!

'63-'66 Valiant Info Centre - Quite possibly the largest source for information about and pictures of '63-'66 Valiants.

Byron and his '63 Valiant - Yet another page dedicated to early A-bodies. Includes pictures, a car show schedule, and technical information.

Sites the ICC Doesn't Want You to See

REVEAL - An association of former members who have compiled one of the largest resource libraries about the ICC availible online - or anywhere else, for that matter. Includes testimonies from former members, the entire text of Jerry Jones' What Does the Boston Movement Teach?, very good advice on what to do if a friend or family member is involved in the ICC, and lots more.

RESOURCE - Provides lots of information about ICC doctorines and history. Includes a list of universities where the ICC has been banned.

New Covenant Publications - Contains many tracts about the ICC and the Unification Church ("Moonies"). Lots of in-depth theological study of the ICC and Biblical refutations of ICC doctorines and practices.

TOLC (Triumphing Over London Cults) - A large archive of information about the ICC published by a group based in Great Britain.

ICC Exmembers' Mailing List - This mailing list is open exclusively to former ICC members and recruits, providing a forum where they can discuss a wide variety of issues about the ICC in an environment where people will listen instead of condemn.

ICoC Concerned Parties' Mailing List - This list was established for friends and relatives of current ICC members or recruits could seek advice from former members and others who are experienced with the ICC on how to handle the situation.

Thee Alumini - This site, while providing some serious criticism of the ICC, is definite proof that ICC critics can and do have quite a sense of humor.

ExICoC.org - The website for life after the ICC. Features the Ex-Member Registry previously kept on Amelia Kleyman's page.

"Truth-seeking Angel" - This is the testimony of a former member who I have come to know via email. Right now her site is fairly small, with just her personal testimony, links, and words of encouragement for those who have left the ICC.

Charles Barsoum's Page - Mr. Barsoum is a former member of the Sydney Church of Christ in Australia. His website contains quite a lot of material on ICC doctorines, and some sound recording of ICC leaders which are very revealing - such as when John Causey declares, "Everybody has to be a member of this church if they're going to get to heaven."

International Churches of Kip - Someone calling himself "Kip McClone" posted the URL to this page to alt.religion.christian.boston-church on April Fools' Day. It's a satire on the official ICC webpage - or more specifically, the official ICC webpage as it appeared about a year ago.

The ICoC Debate Forum - A message board at Delphi for debating theological, ethical, and psychological issues about the ICC. Former and current members are both invited, as well as the curious.

James P. White - This page has certainly evolved a lot since I first ran across it, and he was a current member. Now, James has left the ICC and is an outspoken critic.

How the ICC Presents Itself Online

The Official ICC Site - This is the official ICC website. It contains a handy but incomplete directory of ICC churches worldwide, self-promoting news, and some information about doctorine - but not much in the way of responses to critics.

DPI Books - The official publishing house for ICC books.

HOPE Worldwide - They told me it was the official charity arm of the ICC. They told others that it has nothing to do with the ICC - but the fact remains that, at least in Cleveland, the only way to volunteer for HOPE projects was at an ICC midweek service.

Discipleship Rocks! - This is a completely unofficial site set up by a current ICC member. It's got pretty good graphics and a lot of insights into the beliefs, doctorines, and attitudes many ICC members display, including the First Principles study series. As with many unofficial sites, this one is more informative in some ways than most official ones.

A Teen Disciple's Home Page - Another small, unofficial site created by a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Church of Christ Jesus.

ACES Online - An online newsletter for the Africa, Caribean, and Empire State World Sector. This site is intended primarily for current ICC members, and has many articles which reflect the attitudes and beliefs of the ICC.

Michael's New Page - A personal home page put up by a current member of the Los Angelos Church of Christ. It has many links and personal opinions. Just a warning - the images on this page are huge, so it takes a while to load.

Great Commission Illustrated - This site has a lot of books by current ICC members online. It's very informative about the ICC's doctorine, and a well planned, easy to navigate site. Unlike many sites by current ICC members, this one includes a substantial number of links to non-ICC Christian sites.

Edwin Raphael - A member of the ICC in Singapore. He's got quite a library of photographs, and the graphics on his page are well done. Not much about the ICC's teachings, though.

Aryx Media - This site contains a lot of studies beyond First Principles. They tell a lot about the ICC's approach to interpreting the Bible, or at least approaches that may be used in the ICC without getting questioned.

Other Sites of Interest

Persistance of Vision - A very sophisticated freeware graphics program, capable of rendering a wide variety of graphics. I created many of the images on this site with it.

The Streyan Legacy - I'm part of a team developing a new computerized RPG with a nonlinear plot and many other features that will set it apart from the familiar RPGs. No hit points, no magic, and no script, just a very detailed world in rendered graphics (using Persitance of Vision, above) and an epic story which isn't going to unfold the same way twice.

BeSeen.com - Get free counters, message boards, chat rooms, and more for your site here.

Prototype Creative Review - A literary magazine created as a joint effort between Case Western Reserve University and New York University. I'm not only a staff member, but I'm also their webmaster.

Elsha Kerath's Home Page - One of my friends in Georgia has decided on a whim to start posting an interesting collection of quotes and other stuff.

My Policy on Links

I will link to just about any site based on my own, sometimes arbitrary, criteria. I may link to a site because I think it looks cool, because I think people ought to see its content, because I found useful software or site developing tools there, because I'm friends with whoever put it up, because I'm enemies with whoever put it up, or for none of the above reasons. If you want me to consider posting a link to your site or a site you like, email me the URL and I'll consider it. I give special consideration to people who are willing to offer a reciprocal link, but it is hardly necessary. Also, sometimes I will put links on pages other than my main links page for various reasons.
