Here are the locations for important numbers on a Carter WCFB carburetor.
In the rear left corner (nearest the driver) is the airhorn number. A metal foil tag with the numbers embossed (stamped from the back to be raised) has the manufacturer's number, or model number, and also has the part number from the car manufacturer (Chevrolet, etc.)
The throttle body number is in the recessed area ahead of the throttle levers. It is often hard to see due to dirt and grease that builds up under this area.
There are numbers on the throttle plate, but I do not have pictures.
