June 28, 1999 Dave Simpson of San Jose California lost his life in a fatal motorcycle accident. Details are not yet clear, but I thought everyone who knew him should know. Dave was a true Street Racer with is Primered 82 Chevrolet Camaro. If you ever raced Dave you would have looked at the car and disregarded it as an easy win by the looks. But after the race you would go and congratulate him on a great run. He was a real great guy who loved to race, he was a frequent visitor to the ISRA website, as well as a friend of mine and many others. I was shocked and disturbed when I heard the news today, and thought it would be best put to give a tribute to him on my site since the majority of the people that visit it are from the Bay Area.

My prayers and deepest condolences go out to Dave's Family, Girlfriend, and his close friends. If there's anything myself or anyone could do to help Please let me know. And to all racers that will be attending Sacramento Raceway on the 10th of July we ask that you please put a big "DS82" in your window to let Dave know that he will not be forgotten.

Dave was an expecting father by his girlfriend Liza, which he left behind.
A fund is being set by the ISRA, and UNLIMITED RACING to give to his unborn child. Anyone that knew Dave or did not know him is more than welcome to contribute. Please make checks payable to Simpson and please leave a return address so that we may thank you.
