The first Diesel models with XD90 engine had a 'deferred injection system' that has not been used in any other car. This system (Peugeot-patented) made the engine sensibly quieter when it was idling.
Every pre-78 GL and GLD and all the injection types had disk brakes all-round.These disks had a diameter of 273 mm and were fitted in 14-inch wheels.After having been looking everywhere, I haven't found any other car (except, of course, 505 and 604, which were 504-based) with equal or bigger disks in 14-inch wheels.
