Some nice trips I've done with my 504

Somebody told me that it was simply unbelievable...115000 Km in four years, that's pretty nice for a nineteen-year-old car...and a twenty-four-year-old driver! Not only that, but I'm not the kind of person that uses the car to go-to-work-and-to-university-and-to-have-fun-on-Saturday-night...The things you can find here just show that is possible to go everywhere, with any car, if it's in good shape...
This is not an exhaustive list.
- Barcelona-Paris-Barcelona:(Aug '94) This was a 2650 Km trip done in 52 hours, including a one-day visit to the Asterix Park...My parents were on holiday in England and called me by phone a friday evening...They left the next day and would be in Paris by Saturday evening...So I woke up on Saturday morning, jumped into the car and turned the ignition on...
Coming back was not easy, I had to drive all night long because I had to work on monday...But I enjoyed this trip very much!
- Barcelona-Geneva-Barcelona:(Mar '95,Mar '96,Mar '97) Since I have the car, I've been in Geneva every year. I go in March to visit the world famous Geneva Auto Show. I like this trip because from Montélimar to Geneva the roads are narrow and full of bends...(yiiiiiiiii-haaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!).It takes a weekend (1750 Km).
- Barcelona(E)-Monaco(MC)-Torino(I)-Sochaux(F)-Stuttgart(D)-Praha(CZ) -Clermont-Ferrand(F)-Bordeaux(F)-Zamora(E)-Barcelona:(Aug '95) This is the longest trip I've ever made (6000 Km).I was on holiday, went alone and it took 8 days.It was the museum-trip:I was in the Torino auto museum, the Peugeot museum, the National automobile museum (collection Schlumpf, Mulhouse, France), and the Mercedes Benz museum. If I had had more time (and more money...) I'd have been also in the Volkswagen museum, in Wolfsburg, Germany.

In the italian border...
Going back to Barcelona, I remember having obtained a REAL AVERAGE SPEED of more than 120 Km/h on the german motorways going from Nurnberg (I filled the tank) to Freiburg (I had to fill it again). If you drive (or have driven) a 504 Diesel, and have been in Germany, you know what I mean...At less than 110 Km/h the trucks overtake you, and at less than 100, even the mopeds do...
- Barcelona-Futuroscope(Poitiers,F)-Freiburg(D)-Geneva(CH)-Barcelona:
(Mar '97) This is the only trip I've not made alone. My 11-year-old brother came with me. We went to the Futuroscope park in Poitiers, France, which is a very nice place, and then made a small trip around west Europe...It was exacly a 3188 Km trip which took 4 and a half days, in Easter, including the day we spent in Poitiers.
I'm actually thinking where the next trip is going to be...
