This was the type of fighter The name of the submarine Given to Nixon's George Sr. flew that rescued George Sr., White House Staff when he was shot down.


State Seal Given to Medal of Honor Given to Secret Service recipents agents


89 colors and format were same as regular Inaugural plates but on the left center a
special screened logo was permitted usually in blue; the following have been recorded:
State Seals - Republican Committee's of each State and DC ordered in varying volumes with
their state seal.
Automobile Manufacturers - General Motors (250), Ford (190), Chrysler (100).
Medal of Honor - 165 pairs with multicolored Medal of Honor & recipient's initials stamped
on the plate.
Secret Service - 60 single plates with multicolored Secret Service badge right
numbered and vanity.
Avenger - 30 pairs with multicolored picture of a TBF-Avenger on right. This was the plane
George Bush was shot down in during WW II; Given to members of his fighter group.
Finback - 30 pairs - ship which rescued George Bush; given to crew members.
Coca-Cola - 20 pairs of numbered or vanity plates with red Coca-Cola symbol on right.
AT & T - 5 pairs of numbered or vanity plates with blue screened AT & T logo.
American Flag; 100 pairs vanity and numbered with flag right; distributed by 7-11 Co.
Capitol Dome; The capitol dome was embossed on the right hand side of the plate.
Less than 50 of these were produced. No other information is available at this time.
