This is a display of Illinois "Popeye Picnic" plates. Begining in 1992, and still being held, there is a picnic in the town of Chester Illinois. This is the home of Popeye the Salior Man. This display was awarded 1st place, in the general catagory, at the fall 2001 MLPCA meet.

This is the display, which I took to the 2004 ALPCA National Convention, that was held in Providence Rhode Island. It was awarded 2nd place in the graphic plate category.
