The Three-Wheeler from Mercedes-Benz
The surprise of the biggest car exhibition in the world, the IAA in Frankfurt: A Mercedes with three wheels - two in the front and one in the back. Two passengers sit one behind the other in the F300. Driving experience is like on a motorcycle caused by the removeable roof and the strong tilt ((in the same way a motorcycle does)). Security is like in a car with seat-belts and airbags. The engine with 102 hp comes from the A-Class and gives a maximum speed of 211 km/h ((131 mph)). The F300 could be for sale in four years and cost around DM 25.000,-- ((USD 13.200 assumed 1 USD = DM 1.90)).

Excerpts from an article from German car magazine "Auto Bild":
A silver arrow with three wheels, like the Messerschmitt Kabinenroller of the 50`s. Plus two seats and a glass roof. But the most crazy thing: It tilts in bends like a motorcycle. Looks funny. And even drives.
