Here is something that is hard to believe! The Bandai 360 model shown above was recently auctioned on E-BAY for GET THIS " $1,330.55 ". For that amount of money you could buy a real nice conditioned real thing. I paid less than that for the 3 real ones I have! I found this notice on the 360 discussion board, thanks to whoever posted it.
This picture was sent to me by a friend in Japan, which he drew himself. He tells me that it is a traditional Japanese New Years message card, the white ball on top is made of rice. He just made his own 360 version of the greeting.
This drawing was sent to me by member David Grimshaw who drew it a couple of years ago. I added the border to make it easier to see.
I thought I'd bring these to your attention as they may raise a smile amongst your members. They are "homemade" from the Arii 1:32 scale plastic model kits and were built mainly as a bit of fun and an addition to a 1st birthday event for a SlotCar message board based in Europe. The event was held in Switzerland this September and my car (the blue one) actually won the concours event. There is a video of them in action which can be downloaded at www.slotforum.com Look in the video section and then for Swiss Race Bahn. The clip is in the middle of the video. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do, Jim Moyes England
