They have managed to close in not only in build quality but also on the technology angle. Sonata is a prime example of these achievements. The car is second to none when it comes to engineering and technology. The 1997cc Sirius in-line 4 cylinders 16-valve mill performs with amazing smoothness and capability. The ride quality is smooth and the car doesn't wither when driven hard. The interior is also top class. In summary the Sonata is a very fine performer.
