My MG Gallery

Part I: See The Ballad of the Blue MG

Part II: Elizabeth visits the restoration shop

At this point I have completed much of the mechanical refurbishment, but I HATE DOING BODYWORK!!! So, Elizabeth took a trip to Vintage Restorations Ltd. for some much needed work. In addition to new floors, new/repaired rockers, new left front fender, new bonnet, repaired doglegs and a straightened boot lid, they stripped her to bare metal and painted her back to her original teal-blue. They also sorted out a rear spring problem and bled the brakes! I hope you'll visit their website and/or their shop! John Tokar and his crew at Vintage Restorations Ltd. are outstanding craftsmen.

(No, the chrome bumper in the first picture did not come off this car,
nor is it being installed on it...rubber-baby-buggy-bumpers forever!!!)

Part III: Reassembly at home

Actual assembly took place at a friend's home. I will be forever
grateful to this great guy (and especially to his wife) for putting
up with me coming over sooooo many nights after work and on weekends
so the two of us could swap skinned knuckles and lies and git-er-done!
