Well, here we go, this is where this sports car madness first appeared. My Grandfather was one of the first folks in Cleveland, Ohio to own a MG. My Grandparents were quite well known in the Cleveland area for hardly ever, some say never, putting the top up! Grandad was also Race Chairman for the Put-In-Bay Sports Car Races, where my Grandmother ruled over the administrative side of things. They were both prominent figures at Put-In-Bay, Akron Airport, Cumberland Airport, and Watkins Glen to name a few locations where sports cars, brave drivers, and hay bales occasionally ruled the road or runway. | ![]() |

As you can see by this picture, their daughter, my mother, inherited the madness also. Here she is in her MGTD on top of Pike's Peak! She made this trip with her brother back in her college days. This young lady was never far from the action at races, rallyes, and other sports car events. |
Yep, that's me in the little racecar! The madness was definately running rampant in this family! Here's my Mom, Dad, and Me with Mom's MGA and Dad's Jaguar XK150. I can still hear the beautiful echo of those two cars starting up in our garage in preparation for a day out playing follow the leader. | ![]() |
Here I am all grown up, though some might argue that point! I retired from the United States Air Force in 2003.

Flying saucers are real, the Air Force doesn't exist.
