MAY NEWS
STUFF FROM THE MAY NEWS LETTER
By the time you read this the happy campers will have returned from
the Lake District (report inside) and the Daisy Chain run may have taken place.
Anyone who has a good time on the Daisy Chain but feels they haven’t contributed;
I’ll bring a sponsor form to the next club night its for the Wessex Cancer appeal;
it’s a good cause, it’s local, and you may be grateful for it one day so pay up and smile!
Last year they raised £5600.
BEAULIEU UP DATE
The next thing you can do is volunteer we did have a volunteer to to take the stuff to
Beaulieu for the Club stand but now we don’t at least, he can only do one way,and we
really need someone who can stay over, so the car will be on site and we can pack up
and stow the tent and stuff A car coming into the site won’t be allowed in till 6pm,
but we pack up before that So if its rainin& the tent and everything else gets wet
and so do we, as we can’t just push off and leave it, but if the car’s on site we can
pack it all away and go!
So come on folks, no transport no club stand; no club stand no free tickets! You can
sleep in the club tent, there’s entertainment Saturday night (you might need a beer or
two to appreciate it!) and your Editor will make sure there’s a BBQ Friday night for
those who go to help set up let’s have a team effort.
Remember - NO STAND - no tickets
