Present Perfect simple
This is one of the “problematic Tenses” for Hebrew speakers, who find it difficult because we don’t see the difference between this tense and the Past Tense. To learn the differences go to the Past Tense page and do the relevant exercises. Chuck is breaking his old computer because of 2 reasons: 1. The old computer has given him a lot of trouble. 2. He has just bought a new one. We use this tense when time of the action is not important, what is important is its relevance to the present situation.
