Present Progressive: We use this form of the
present to describe actions happening now, at present as opposed to those
actions which happen on a regular basis. This burger is
jumping.(it is jumping NOW
because I have just added some
real hot chilly sauce!) Remember to use your dictionary to double letters before adding the –ing (sitting, running forgetting etc.) Don’t forget
what your teacher told you about stative verbs which you usually use in the
Present Simple tense. (I hate fish! I understand you
now) Another thing
worth remembering is that you can use this tense to express resentment: This dog is
always barking ! My mother is always
shouting at me! Present SimpleThis tense is
used for actions done on a regular basis. Mr. Blue takes
good care of himself. He walks
5 Kms every day. To practice the above,
