Burr's Ferry Historic Site Plaque Dedication September 18, 2004 Vernon Parish |
The Mouton Camp sent some of it's members to serve as the Artillery Honor Guard to the dedication of the Burr's Ferry National Register of Historic Site Plaque Dedication. It was the first time the new cannon of the newly formed Pelican Battery had a chance to serve. The Pelican Battery provides use of the cannon to the Mouton Camp at such events. |

St. Hubert Benevolent Society Annual Squirrel Cook-Off October, 16, 2004 Washington, La |
The Pelican Battery provided the Parrott cannon to fire a shot and start the squirrel cook-off and provide demonstrations to the spectators there. The camp set up a recruiting and sales table and had a very successful day. |

2nd Annual Reenactment Battle of Carrion Crow Bayou October 8-10, 2004 Chretien Point Plantation Sunset, La |
The Mouton Camp teamed up with Chretien Point Plantation to co-host this 2nd Annual Reenactment. While the weather spoiled most of the event this year, dedicated camp members and reenactors fought the elements to have a good weekend.
