Thriller-Veteran cop Will Dormer has just traveled to Alaska to help solve a case of a murdered teen. He travels with his partner Hap Eckhart. As he's there, Hap argues with Will about the controversy and they get mad at each other. After they get to a cabin where the killer is supposed to be, Will accidently kills Hap. By the way, it's summer in Alaska and Will can't get sleep. Will gets calls from the killer, Walter Finch, who knows that Will killed Hap. From then on, Will must be tangled in his lies while staying alive.

7/10-A straight-forward movie, that's too straight-forward at times, but not straight-forward enough at the end. Pacino is especially good, but it has too many dramatic parts (ok, I know it's a psychological drama...). I've always loved Robin Williams, and he's great in here too. It was predictable and yet thrilling. It give a discussion topic at the end, and I'd like to see this again to check all the "foreshadows". It, however, took a very long time to get into the story.

Rated R for language and some violence.
