Usual Suspects sequel?

Kevin Spacey has added fuel to the rumours of a Usual Suspects sequel. Spacey, who played Verbal Kint in the original said “Yeah, of course I’d be well up for it, but only if Benicio Del Toro is replaced by James Lance and the script writing duties are handed to Noel Gallagher”.

Everett honoured

Norfolk born actor Rupert Everett has been honoured by his birth county. The town of North Walsham has been renamed Everettgrad.

Big strong boys

A feature length film version of hit BBC series ‘Big strong boys’ is being planned. Christian Solimeno has been signed up to play cheeky cockney Jake, but the roles of Gav and Sarah are still up for grabs. The film will begin shooting in October and a release is likely next summer. The story will revolve around the love triangle involving the three presenters, which threatens their work. David Holmes will compose the soundtrack.

Dawson’s Creek UK

The new channel 4 series ‘Dawson’s Creek UK’ has been getting rave reviews. The programme, which sees the characters of ‘Dawson’s Creek’ put in a Bedford comprehensive school, has been described as “the greatest TV show, ever!” by Paul Ross. Paul said how he enjoyed seeing the Bedfordshire 6th formers react to the new kids saying things like “Do you want to make a point, or are you harassing me with a decaying issue” and “it’s nice to find an ally in this strange and eclectic hamlet”.

Sutton in Ashfield

Chris Sutton and Kate Ashfield have announced their engagement. Chris said, “If a double decker bus, crashes into us, to die by her side, is such a heavenly way to die”.
To be honest I was thinking of doing a ‘Kirkby in Ashfield’ gag but couldn’t think of anyone called Kirkby.

Badger hanging.

Clint Eastwood has signed up to take part in the first show of ‘Ainsley Harriot’s Celebrity Badger Hanging’. Each week, a famous face will attempt to hang as many badgers as he can while listening to The Who and pleasuring Darren Gough.
