Because of the shortness
of money , we make do with what we have. Guniea Pigs are a valuable comodity
here , we use them as pets , because they are cute, they eat the grass
from the next seasons garden beds , so we grow our food organicly , and
they are a good replacement for chicken , which most of us cant afford
to buy any more. ( fried in batter with mixed herbs and salt and pepper,
its nearly as good as the Kernals Chicken )
Some people breed these cute animals and sell them for a bit of extra
money as well. It contributes to the 'black economy' which John Howard
, our PM hates so much. I think he should loosen up and be less racist.
