Fishing

Probably one of the fastest ways of getting food is through fishing. Fish are the preferred item of food because they only have one piece, where as cakes have three pieces and so it takes longer to eat. Now to fish at a low level you have to buy or find a net, and while it is in your inventory left click on a fishing place in the river or ocean. These places are located on the Jagex Official rs map and you can see then because it looks like fish are jumping out of the water. Now with the new system though, as with mining, you can only fish a certain amount for your level then you have to go and rest on a bed...Of course the Jagex staff aren't thick or stupid so they have added beds close by to all the mining and fishing locations.

-To get an oily fishing rod you will need at least lvl25 herblaw, talk to the fish salesman and he'll tell you about the oil. Then just add oil to a normal fishing pole.
Big Net- With a big net you are able to catch from 1-5 items at one time. Catching fish with a big net gets you less exp then catching the same fish with a fishing pole.
